Retail Associate – Customer Service & Sales

About the role
The Retail Associate will support store performance by delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will act as a brand ambassador, helping customers connect with the adidas brand and its products.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor store sales, KPI and personal targets, using resources to achieve or exceed them.
- Deliver brand‑standard customer service, addressing needs and building loyalty.
- Apply product knowledge to communicate features, benefits and unique selling points.
- Maintain visual merchandising and in‑store communication standards.
- Process merchandise deliveries, replenish stock and keep the sales floor fully represented.
- Handle cash register transactions quickly and accurately.
- Minimise loss on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Perform all store operations safely and efficiently while collaborating with team members.
- Complete required training and seek coaching to continuously improve performance.
Required profile
- High school education (minimum).
- At least 6 months experience in a sports or fashion retail environment.
- Basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused setting.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
- Understanding of visual merchandising principles.
