About the role
Propah Hospitality is seeking a full‑time Restaurant Manager to lead front‑of‑house operations at its new venue in Bardez, Goa. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily front‑of‑house activities, including guest service, reservations and floor performance.
- Supervise, schedule and lead staff through pre‑shift briefings.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues in real time.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain hygiene, safety standards and cash‑handling procedures.
- Prepare basic reports on sales, inventory and staffing.
- Support hiring, onboarding and training of new team members.
- Implement service standards, SOPs and assist founders with promotions, events and new concepts.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service mindset with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience hiring, training and supervising restaurant or bar staff.
- Solid knowledge of food & beverage menus and service standards.
- Previous management experience in a high‑volume or lifestyle‑focused venue.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of solving problems on the spot.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Basic office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing).
- Inventory management.
- Cash control processes.
