Assistant Manager – Housekeeping

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to join our team at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. In this role you will support the Executive Housekeeper in delivering high‑quality housekeeping services, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth departmental operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with all hotel departments to optimise cooperation, productivity and guest service.
• Interact with guests and staff in a friendly, efficient manner, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support the team by ensuring safety training, conducting briefings and ongoing coaching for housekeeping attendants.
• Maintain records of training, monitor key performance indicators and advise the Executive Housekeeper on staff performance.
• Promote teamwork, motivate staff and ensure adherence to hotel and company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to train, coach and develop staff.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping operations and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and KPI tracking.
