Residential Construction Manager – Ultrapure Water Plants

About the role

Gradiant India is seeking a Residential Construction Manager to lead site construction activities for ultrapure water plants. The role oversees multidisciplinary teams, ensures compliance with contractual, technical, quality and safety standards, and drives project execution from start to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for site construction, supervising multidisciplinary teams and ensuring efficient execution.
• Conduct regular site reviews, evaluate contractor performance, and hold weekly progress meetings.
• Coordinate closely with head‑office teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Serve as primary client interface for all site‑related matters, delivering updates and resolving issues.
• Interpret contract documentation, manage billing preparation, certification and submission, and follow up on client payments.
• Oversee contractor and client bill reconciliation, material reconciliation and surplus material handling.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, company HSE policies and client‑specific safety protocols.
• Manage HR and statutory compliance activities, promoting labor welfare and a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing site construction activities across multiple disciplines.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Experience in contract administration, billing processes and financial tracking.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
