Relationship Manager – Field Sales (Health Insurance)

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Field Sales will drive direct health‑insurance sales across the Delhi NCR territory. Working in the field, you will engage Paytm merchants, prospect open‑market customers and generate referrals, managing the full customer journey from first contact to policy issuance.

Key responsibilities

• Engage Paytm merchants in the assigned area, introduce health‑insurance products and build ongoing relationships through regular visits.
• Prospect individuals, families, salaried professionals and small business owners in the open market to acquire new business.
• Generate referrals from existing customers, merchants and personal networks, ensuring a referral request follows each policy delivery.
• Conduct needs‑analysis for each prospect, recommend suitable products from the approved insurer panel and handle objections.
• Close sales, collect accurate documentation at point of sale and support customers through medical examinations and policy issuance.
• Minimise free‑look cancellations by ensuring customers fully understand and receive appropriate coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in health or general insurance, with direct sales experience.
• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Local candidate with established presence and network in Delhi NCR.
• Comfort with field sales, lead generation and regular market visits.
• Own a two‑wheeler and be willing to travel daily for field work.
