Purchase-to-Pay Finance Trainer & SME

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Purchase-to-Pay Finance Trainer and Subject Matter Expert to lead knowledge transfer and capability building for our new Global Hub in India. The role combines hands‑on SAP finance expertise with strong facilitation skills to train new colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for process transition, participating in hand‑over sessions and validating knowledge transfer.
• Develop and deliver classroom, virtual and on‑the‑job training covering invoice processing, payment operations, vendor accounting and financial controls.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, training materials, user guides and job aids.
• Assess learner readiness, provide post‑training support and ensure independent performance of the receiving team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across locations to align on standards and resolve escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CA/CMA preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience in Purchase‑to‑Pay finance, accounts payable or shared‑services environment.
• Proven subject‑matter expertise in end‑to‑end P2P processes and strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working in an MNC or Global Capability Center is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) for accounts payable, invoice processing and payment runs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and training material creation.
