Precast Operations Manager

About the role

The Precast Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing one or more key functions within the precast concrete value chain, such as production, erection, planning, logistics, or design coordination. The role ensures that precast elements are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and satisfy project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the assigned domain (production, erection or logistics) to align with the master schedule and project milestones.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to validate drawings, confirm constructability and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor daily activities at the casting yard or erection site, ensuring correct placement of molds, reinforcement, embedded items and concrete according to approved methods.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality assurance protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Work closely with planning and procurement to guarantee timely availability of raw materials, embedded components and lifting accessories.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance and troubleshooting technical challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing precast concrete production, erection or logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of construction planning, scheduling and procurement processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure constructability.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and quality standards applicable to precast works.
• Leadership skills to supervise teams and drive performance.
