Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSE) Professional

About the role

The HSE Professional will support the project team by providing technical advice, conducting inspections, and ensuring that health, safety, security and environmental standards are consistently applied on site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information, technical advice and support to all project team members on HSE matters.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits and reviews, circulate findings and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Compile and submit monthly HSE performance reports and maintain statistical data.
• Develop, communicate and periodically update the site emergency plan and procedures.
• Assist the site team in preparing and maintaining risk assessments and control measures before work starts.
• Monitor visitor registration, induction and escort procedures.
• Investigate, rectify and close all HSE hazards or complaints, recording them in the Hazard Report Log.
• Maintain inspection and test plans for plant and equipment.
• Support incident management, ensuring timely reporting and assistance to the site team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HSE subject‑matter expert, preferably within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work closely with site teams and communicate HSE requirements clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
