Nurse Assistant – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians with clinical tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe, comfortable experience for patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
• Provide bedside care, support, and education to patients and families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is operational.
• Attend regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team‑building, coordination, and initiative.
• Compassionate approach to patient care.
• Basic computer literacy.
