Cluster Assistant – Public Health Project

About the role

The Cluster Assistant will support the State Resource Centre for Concurrent Monitoring & Evaluation (SRC‑CME) in Gujarat, assisting the Cluster Supervisor with daily operations, field coordination, and data management for the Women & Child Development (WCD) programme.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Cluster Supervisor in daily operational activities.
• Facilitate coordination between field staff and the office team.
• Conduct basic field visits and provide timely updates to the supervisor.
• Make follow‑up calls and communicate important updates to field staff.
• Support data entry and maintain MIS records accurately.
• Resolve basic coordination and administrative issues.
• Ensure timely sharing of information between teams.
• Provide administrative and operational support as assigned.
• Support smooth execution of cluster‑level operations and tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in public health, preferably with the Women & Child Development sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably sociology.
• Willingness to travel extensively for field work.
• Ability to produce reports and documentation.
• Strong operational orientation and computer proficiency.
