Medical Assistant – Patient-Focused Clinic Role

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our health-center team and support providers in delivering patient-centered care. The role involves both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring a smooth experience from check-in through follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, creating a positive experience.
• Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Support front-office and administrative clinic functions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program with at least 2 years recent experience, or a minimum of 3 years on-the-job training.
• Strong patient-care, communication and customer-service abilities.
