Manufacturing Associate – Crane Operator

About the role

Arabelle Solutions, part of EDF Group, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate – Crane Operator to support welding and lifting operations for nuclear components. You will work on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and ISO standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily welding on casings and components following ISO 9001, ISO 19044 and SQDC targets.
• Operate, maintain and inspect lifting tools and rigging equipment according to lifting plans, SOPs and certificates.
• Conduct shift‑start risk assessments, report EHS or quality concerns, and follow nuclear safety procedures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to select appropriate welding processes.
• Apply lean tools (5S, TPM, Kaizen) to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.
• Collaborate with machine and assembly teams to ensure uninterrupted production.

Required profile

• Minimum 12th grade education.
• At least 3 years of experience in heavy fabrication, welding, and lifting operations.
• Valid lifting and rigging certifications.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated integrity and a lean‑mindset.
