About the role
Mastercard is seeking a Lead, Enterprise Operations to drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of large‑scale, multi‑vendor network environments. You will work closely with design engineering and application teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure across data centres.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex network initiatives, providing advanced technical support and resolving escalations.
- Design, architect, and implement end‑to‑end data‑centre infrastructure, including firewalls, switching, and routing.
- Collaborate with application teams to align core Mastercard applications with network architecture and troubleshoot impacts.
- Coordinate disaster‑recovery processes and ensure platform reliability through automation and continuous improvement.
- Define, manage, and review service level objectives (SLOs) with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior staff, delivering training and technical guidance.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in network operations with strong L1/L2 support background.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and manage high‑severity incidents.
- Excellent coaching, multitasking, and calm execution under pressure.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of BGP and EIGRP routing protocols.
- Expertise in OSI model troubleshooting and packet analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto devices.
