About the role
The Territory Manager – Rural Mass Retail will lead the prepaid business across a defined rural region, overseeing the full go‑to‑market strategy. You will be responsible for expanding the SIM and data outlet network, increasing market share and ensuring high service levels for existing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Grow the distribution and sales network by adding new SIM and data selling outlets throughout the assigned territory.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing retailers and field sales executives to guarantee excellent customer service.
- Analyse market demographics and tailor sales strategies to distinct customer segments.
- Monitor channel profitability and satisfaction, and implement programs to improve both.
- Drive partner value through systematic marketing and merchandising activities.
- Prepare regular market intelligence reports on customer trends and competitor performance.
- Collaborate with the network team to identify and address mobile network issues in the market.
Required profile
- Full‑time graduate; MBA or PGDM preferred.
- 1‑4 years of sales experience, preferably in telecom or FMCG.
- Proven ability to execute plans with excellence and work effectively within large teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data and draw insights.
