Senior Network & Firewall Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network & Firewall Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our network security platform. Based in Nashik, you will ensure secure, scalable connectivity across our global operations while maintaining compliance and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operations, hardening, and optimisation of firewall and network environments (Sophos, Palo Alto, Aruba switching/Wi‑Fi, ClearPass NAC).
• Design and govern firewall rulebases, NAT, application control, IPS/IDS, VPN (client and site‑to‑site), high‑availability setups, and manage upgrades/patching.
• Drive centralised management and standardisation using tools such as Sophos Central and Palo Alto management consoles.
• Engineer LAN/WAN routing, VLANs, QoS, segmentation, and resilient remote connectivity solutions.
• Manage Aruba networking infrastructure, including controller and AP deployments, refresh cycles, and service stability.
• Configure and operate ClearPass for NAC/802.1X access control, authentication policies, device onboarding, and guest access.
• Define monitoring alerts, dashboards, and telemetry pipelines to improve incident readiness and response.
• Provide 2nd‑ and 3rd‑level troubleshooting, packet‑capture analysis, root‑cause investigations, and sustainable remediation.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in network and firewall administration.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and secure‑by‑design principles.
• Proven ability to standardise processes across multiple locations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
