International Taxation Specialist

About the role

Wipro is seeking an International Taxation Specialist to lead tax planning, compliance and reporting for its global operations. The role involves staying current with international tax legislation, advising management, and ensuring accurate tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for direct and indirect taxes in international contexts.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns for payroll, corporate, and indirect taxes.
• Monitor compliance, identify potential non‑compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with government authorities and internal cross‑functional teams to support audits and resolve tax issues.
• Manage transfer pricing studies for inter‑company transactions.
• Ensure accurate tax accounting, reporting of assets and liabilities, and preparation of MIS dashboards.
• Lead development of global tax tools and maintain high‑quality master and transactional tax data.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3‑5 years of experience in a multinational corporate tax department.
• Strong knowledge of international tax compliance, forms and regulations.
• High degree of accuracy, ability to meet tight deadlines, and strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Professional, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
