Graphic Designer – Media & Events (Kurla)

About the role

Retail Jeweller India, a 20‑year‑old media and events organisation serving the gems and jewellery industry in India and the Middle East, is looking for a Graphic Designer to create and maintain visual assets for its magazine, tabloid and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design the Retail Jeweller India magazine and market tabloid, including layouts, pagination and typography.
• Create layouts for special publications, supplements and buying guides.
• Develop social‑media creatives for Instagram, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
• Design event‑related graphics for awards, forums and other brand‑owned IPs.
• Collaborate closely with editorial, marketing and events teams to ensure visual consistency across all brands.
• Prepare print‑ready and digital files according to publishing standards.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing magazine layouts and social‑media creatives.
• Experience in publishing, preferably with magazines, media houses or B2B publications.
• Location in or near Kurla West, Mumbai.

Required skills

• Adobe InDesign – page layout, typography and print‑ready artwork.
• Adobe Photoshop – image editing, retouching and composition.
• Adobe Illustrator – vector graphics, illustrations and logo creation.
• Design of social‑media creatives for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
