GB/G Manager - Business Accounting

About the role

The GB/G Manager – Business Accounting will support service delivery and ensure accurate month‑ and year‑end closing and reporting across teams. You will lead functional experts, contribute to the SDU management team, and safeguard knowledge sharing within the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Support service delivery and proper performance of month‑ and year‑end closing and reporting.
• Provide functional leadership for subject‑area employees across service teams.
• Contribute to the SDU management team in developing the unit and its staff.
• Document and share functional expertise to ensure continuity.
• Implement functional requests and process enhancements, including automation initiatives.
• Link expert groups with service teams to foster exchange and collaboration.
• Assist the transition to the new team structure and act as a point of contact for functional service matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or accounting leadership roles.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and across company boundaries.
• Strong communication skills and approachability for subject‑area employees.
• Commitment to documenting and sharing functional knowledge.
• Experience driving process improvements and automation.
