Finance Manager – Accounts & Milk Payroll

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical finance professional to lead accounting, cost management and milk payroll functions at our Samalkha factory. The role sits at the intersection of finance, operations and supply‑chain, driving performance, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate accounting transactions, period‑end closing, fixed‑asset accounting and balance‑sheet reconciliations in line with standards and internal controls.
• Manage Fixed Factory Overhead and capital‑expenditure budgets, perform variance analysis and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Lead end‑to‑end milk payroll operations, guaranteeing timely farmer and agent payments and overseeing milk costing and pricing analysis.
• Oversee milk collection controls, transporter reconciliations and recovery processes, and evaluate procurement proposals.
• Prepare regular operational and financial reports on milk procurement and factory performance for cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Support audits, ensure compliance with company policies and drive continuous improvement in accounting and payroll processes.

Required profile

• Education: CA or MBA (Finance).
• Experience: 2‑3 years in finance, accounting, controlling or manufacturing finance.

Required skills

• Strong accounting and financial control knowledge.
• Budgeting, cost analysis and financial reporting expertise.
• Analytical capability to derive insights from large datasets.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
