Finance Controller – India

About the role

TechGrove, the Centre of Excellence for Banyan Software in Chennai, is looking for a senior Finance Controller to lead financial governance, treasury oversight, and operational finance for its India platform. Reporting to Corporate Finance leadership and partnering closely with the General Manager, you will ensure alignment with global standards while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, financial reporting, and balance‑sheet governance for TechGrove and related entities.
• Maintain high standards of reporting accuracy, accrual discipline, reconciliation integrity, and variance transparency.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in partnership with the General Manager.
• Support EBITDA performance through cost governance and financial insight.
• Develop and maintain internal control frameworks aligned with Banyan’s global standards.
• Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and capital‑allocation insights for strategic decisions.
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory, tax, and regulatory filings.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with proven experience in financial reporting, month‑end close, and balance‑sheet management.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, tax regulations, and internal control standards.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Excellent analytical and advisory skills for complex accounting and financial matters.
