Experienced Industrial Electrician (8‑10 yrs)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with 8‑10 years of hands‑on expertise to support production engineering processes in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The role ensures high‑quality output and safe operation of all electrical systems throughout pre‑production, live‑class, and post‑production stages.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment such as inverters, UPS, AC/DC drives, HTLT panels and servo drives.
• Perform daily monitoring and predictive/ preventive maintenance of production equipment following manufacturer recommendations.
• Optimize utilisation of the powerhouse, generator room and M & E panels to achieve cost‑effective production.
• Liaise with vendors and the Facility Engineer/AFM to source equipment and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, shift handovers and equipment status reports.
• Collaborate with production planners, shift supervisors and quality managers to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase equipment uptime and capacity.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with statutory and customer quality standards.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of hands‑on industrial electrical experience, preferably in FMCG or high‑volume manufacturing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, M & E systems and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and maintenance plans.

Required skills

• Installation and repair of inverters, UPS, AC/DC drives, HTLT panels and servo drives.
• Power distribution systems including transformers and lifts.
• Predictive maintenance software usage.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
