Entry-Level Travel Agent – GDS Knowledge Required

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic freshers with a basic understanding of travel operations to join our team. The role involves handling ticketing, travel geography queries, and providing support across multiple markets using global distribution systems.

Key responsibilities

• Process flight, hotel and ancillary bookings using GDS platforms.
• Assist customers with travel itineraries, ticketing issues and travel‑related queries.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and ensure compliance with airline and agency policies.
• Work flexible shifts, including 24 × 7 coverage with rostered weekends.
• Collaborate with both office and remote teams to meet service level agreements.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or candidate with a diploma in Travel or related field.
• Strong knowledge of travel geography, ticketing processes and industry jargon.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to shift schedules.
• Quick learner capable of handling multiple markets and systems.

Required skills

• Familiarity with at least one GDS: SABRE, Apollo, Amadeus, Galileo or Wordspan.
