Supply Planning Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Planning Manager to lead the development and execution of supply plans that balance demand, production capacity and inventory targets. The role will work closely with demand planning, manufacturing, procurement and sales teams to ensure product availability across our distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑term and long‑term supply plans based on demand forecasts and business requirements.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centres, reducing excess, obsolete and slow‑moving stock.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to create production schedules aligned with demand and capacity constraints.
• Partner with demand planning and sales in S&OP meetings to align supply with forecast changes.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to secure raw materials, monitor supplier performance and resolve disruptions.
• Identify and implement improvements in planning accuracy, inventory turns and overall supply‑chain efficiency.
• Track and report key metrics such as inventory turns, fill rates, OTIF and forecast accuracy, presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory or production planning within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing or related sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan or Blue Yonder.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for reporting and analytics.
