Director, Business Development

About the role

Visa is seeking a Director of Business Development for its Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) unit. You will own pipeline creation and the sell‑in of VCA services to key financial institutions and fintech partners, leveraging deep payments knowledge and a consulting mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust pipeline with targeted financial and fintech clients.
• Lead pursuit activities: understand client problems, craft proposals, pitch solutions, and negotiate pricing.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure high‑quality execution of contracted services.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in management or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience, including strong exposure to payments and consulting.
• Proven ability to meet revenue targets and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Deep knowledge of banking, payments products, services, and related business processes.
• Excellent client relationship management and trusted‑advisor capabilities.
• Strong analytical rigor and executive presence with effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Leadership experience in matrixed environments and familiarity with portfolio, product, marketing, operations, or risk management for credit and debit cards.
