Deputy Manager – Customer Support & In‑Plant Quality

About the role

The Deputy Manager – Customer Support & In‑Plant Quality will lead quality and customer‑focused activities for Bosch's manufacturing operations in Jaipur. You will act as the primary liaison with customers, manage claims, and ensure product and process quality across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and review customer‑specific quality requirements, monitor improvement actions, and coordinate customer visits and audits.
• Manage customer claims, rework, and reverse‑logistics of return samples (0 km, field, AA) following the BBM process, and arrange resources for containment actions.
• Ensure product and process quality per SOPs, conduct regular and event‑based audits, and prepare teams for management reviews and external audits (IATF, 2DP, customer/third‑party).
• Represent the quality function during change‑management events such as QG gates, IPN releases, safe launches, concessions, ECR, RAS, trial order approvals, PSW/FMEA.
• Initiate and drive quality‑improvement projects including HEP, IDC reduction, Shainin analysis, digitisation, SCIP, and cost‑saving RPP initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer claim management and reverse‑logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of product audit procedures and quality‑management systems (QMS) implementation.
• Ability to lead and represent quality activities during change‑management and audit events.
• Track record of delivering quality‑improvement projects using methodologies such as HEP, IDC reduction, and Shainin.
