Data Analyst – FP&A & Business Insights

About the role

Persistent Systems is looking for a seasoned Data Analyst to join its Business Insights function. The role will turn enterprise data into strategic insights that guide executive decisions and drive value across global units.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑wide analytics frameworks for strategic planning and operational excellence.
• Identify annual and quarterly opportunities using data modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Own and enhance the Margin Improvement Program (MIP) tracker to optimize EBIT across operating units.
• Architect cross‑functional performance analysis with metrics such as ARC, Bench %, Pyramid, Utilization, and Cost.
• Facilitate real‑time communication between enablement functions and executive leadership on budget vs. actuals.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance across all analytical functions.
• Develop and deliver executive dashboards and strategic reports for CXO‑level stakeholders.
• Mentor a high‑performing analytics team and promote a data‑driven culture.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience in analytics, strategy, performance management, or business insights, preferably in IT services or product engineering.
• Proven track record leading enterprise‑level analytics or transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Deep understanding of financial levers affecting EBIT, cost management, and operational KPIs.
