Cost Management Lead – High‑Rise Residential Project

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to lead budgeting and costing activities for a high‑rise residential rehabilitation project in Mumbai. The role will be part of Mace’s integrated delivery team, ensuring financial discipline and value throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and advise on procurement strategies, applying value‑management techniques to build a solid project foundation.
• Lead estimating and cost‑planning processes, own the final cost plan and deliver clear financial reporting to the client.
• Manage procurement and contract administration, preparing documentation and overseeing execution in line with governance requirements.
• Provide valuations, cost‑control and reporting services, assess variations and claims, and protect the project’s financial integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing systems and processes and mentor junior team members.
• Integrate sustainability and net‑zero carbon objectives into delivery, actively managing emissions and reduction targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., construction management, engineering, finance).
• Proven experience in cost management, budgeting or estimating within the construction sector.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate financial information to clients.
