Transmission Lines Manager – Wind Projects

About the role

Enfinity Global is seeking a Transmission Lines Manager to lead the electrical balance‑of‑plant (BoP) execution for wind projects. The role focuses on the design, construction, and commissioning of EHV substations, PSS, and 33 kV/EHV transmission lines, ensuring compliance with Indian standards and seamless grid connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of EHV/AIS/GIS substations and PSS.
• Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of 33 kV and EHV transmission lines.
• Ensure compliance with single‑line diagrams, protection, control, and earthing standards.
• Coordinate with BoP, SCADA, and turbine teams and resolve right‑of‑way issues with EPC contractors and authorities.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and produce as‑built documentation.
• Validate BOQs, optimise costs, and prepare technical specifications and tender documents.
• Manage QA/QC, FAT/SAT, safety compliance, and lead commissioning and handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s in Power Systems or Transmission Engineering preferred.
• 10‑12 years of progressive experience in power evacuation, EHV, PSS, and 33 kV lines, with at least 5 years in renewable energy projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of Indian CEA regulations and IS 5613 standards.
• Professional certifications such as IEI Chartered Engineer, PMP, or advanced ETAP/PLS‑CADD training are a plus.

Required skills

• Design tools: PLS‑CADD, ETAP, DIgSILENT.
• Load flow studies, fault analysis, EMF assessments.
• Cost estimation using MS Excel or Primavera.
• Contract management and value engineering for BoM reductions.
