Corporate Counsel, Devices – Digital Legal

About the role

Amazon is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Devices legal team in Bangalore. The role supports the development and launch of consumer devices such as Echo, Fire TV Stick, and Kindle across India and select Southeast Asian markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal counsel on commercial, technology, privacy, compliance and regulatory matters.
• Advise on strategic initiatives, key transactions and product launches.
• Collaborate with local and global legal teams, as well as external counsel.
• Support cross‑functional business partners and ensure alignment with Amazon’s policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• 7+ years of in‑house or law‑firm experience, preferably with technology and commercial transactions.
• Strong communication skills with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Team player who can build consensus across the organization.
