Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from initiation through hand‑over. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage construction projects from start to completion and hand‑over.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, consultants, vendors, and clients.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scope of work to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, material planning, billing, and variations.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with procurement and commercial teams for timely resource availability.
• Conduct regular site inspections and project review meetings.
• Prepare and review DPRs, WPRs, MIS reports, progress dashboards, and project documentation.
• Manage client and consultant communication, approvals, inspections, and decisions.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, costs, risks, and challenges.
• Mentor project engineers and site teams to ensure effective execution.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects from planning to hand‑over.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, construction execution, cost control, and contractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
