Experienced Plumber (5‑8 yrs) – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced plumber with 5‑8 years of experience to join a leading construction company. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential projects in the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with contractors, electricians, pipefitters and other trades to install and repair plumbing systems.
• Install heating, air‑conditioning, and water‑heater equipment, including supports, pipes, fixtures, sinks, toilets, and gas/steam lines.
• Perform basic electrical work for restaurant kitchen equipment as required.
• Inspect drainage and plumbing installations for compliance with local and national codes and health‑safety standards.
• Test systems for leaks, diagnose problems, and document findings and corrective actions.
• Modify pipe lengths, replace worn components, and select appropriate materials based on budget and specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, layout maps, and building specifications to determine pipe routes and fixture placements.
• Conduct routine maintenance on domestic appliances such as dishwashers and gas cookers.

Required profile

• 5–8 years proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing installation and repair.
• Valid plumbing licence and ability to work on water, gas, steam, and air distribution systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of local building codes and ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem‑analysis skills with the ability to select tools and materials for effective repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Valid driving licence (India / GCC) and clean driving record.
