Quantity Surveyor – MEP (Construction)

Key responsibilities

• MEP Quantity Take‑off & BOQ preparation from drawings/specifications.
• Preparation and verification of RA Bills & Final Bills.
• Rate analysis for MEP items including material, labour, wastage, overheads and installation costs.
• Market rate analysis and benchmarking based on current vendor rates.
• Preparation of cost estimates, budgets and cost plans.
• Preparation of tender BOQ, tender estimates and tender documentation.
• Review and analysis of contractor/vendor quotations and commercial bids.
• Rate analysis for extra items, non‑BOQ items and variations.
• Quantity reconciliation and verification of executed quantities.
• Handling variations, change orders and cost impacts.
• Coordination with MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, procurement and site teams.
• Cost control, budget monitoring and commercial reporting.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying.
• Experience in Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, Healthcare/Hospital and Mixed‑use projects preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD, with ability to read MEP drawings.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & ELV systems.
