About the role
Join Hilton’s vibrant hotel kitchen as a Commis I (Continental) and help create memorable dining experiences for guests. Working under senior chefs, you will assist in preparing and cooking high‑quality dishes while embodying the hospitality spirit.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Manage guest orders efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Execute complex recipes, oversee stations, and perform quality control.
- Inspect plates before service to guarantee presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitary workspace following food‑handling protocols.
- Prepare requisitions and manage inventory of supplies and food items.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook or Trainee in a 5‑star hotel or high‑standard restaurant.
- Basic knowledge of Western or Chinese cuisine.
- Ability to stay calm and solve problems under pressure.
- Comfortable working in hot, humid, and noisy kitchen environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards.
