Multi-Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Multi-Technician is a full‑time, on‑site position at Hotel Sahara Star, a 5‑star property in Mumbai. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities operate safely and efficiently through routine and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and basic HVAC systems across the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections, document work performed and report any issues.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front‑office and event teams to minimise guest disruption.
• Support special projects and event setups by providing technical and maintenance assistance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental guidelines at all times.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on experience in general maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC tasks.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and testing instruments safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and diagnostic capabilities.
• Good communication skills and a courteous, professional attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to work in shifts, handle emergencies and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
