About the role
We are looking for a Cashier to handle cash, card, UPI and other payments accurately in our restaurant. The role involves managing billing, refunds and daily sales records while ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Key responsibilities
- Handle cash, card, UPI and other payments accurately.
- Generate and close KOT/BOT and customer bills.
- Check bills for correct items, prices, discounts and taxes.
- Maintain daily cash and payment records.
- Operate the POS billing system and troubleshoot basic billing issues.
- Verify cash in hand with system closing at the end of the shift.
- Coordinate with service team, kitchen and management regarding billing issues.
- Process refunds, cancellations and discounts only with proper approval.
- Maintain daily sales and payment reports.
- Ensure proper cash handover to the authorised person.
- Maintain confidentiality of sales and financial information.
- Follow restaurant SOPs and cash‑handling policies.
