About the role
Amazon Global Selling is expanding its marketplace in India and seeks a Business Development Specialist to attract and grow international third‑party sellers. You will act as a bridge between Amazon’s internal teams and external sellers, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and driving revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Understand and articulate Amazon Services products and benefits to external audiences.
- Engage senior executives at prospective sellers to negotiate deals and facilitate onboarding.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the seller onboarding process.
- Set account targets and priorities that support category strategy.
- Monitor performance and sales of key partners, managing productivity and seller satisfaction targets.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; 2 years preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable navigating complex, cross‑functional environments and influencing external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Adaptability to ambiguous and rapidly changing situations.
