Associate, PPM Systems & Business

About the role

Alcon is looking for an Associate to support the administration, operation, and continuous improvement of its Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms and related business applications. The role partners with business users to ensure high‑quality system data, resolve issues, monitor performance, and drive efficiency improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations of PPM systems and related enterprise applications.
• Maintain master data such as users, resources, organizational structures, labor rates and parameters.
• Provide Level 1 support via ServiceNow, triaging and resolving user requests.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with technical teams or vendors for complex problems.
• Monitor performance metrics, scheduled jobs, integrations and data flows, escalating exceptions.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards and analytics on system usage and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with global business and technical teams across regions to deliver consistent support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, information systems, engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications or Project and Portfolio Management platforms.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to high‑quality user support.

Required skills

• Planisware (or similar PPM platform) administration and support.
• Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Power BI or Tableau for dashboard and visualization creation.
• ServiceNow or comparable IT service‑management tool.
• JavaScript or other scripting/low‑code development technologies.
