About the role
The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa is seeking an Assistant Manager – Training to support the development and delivery of employee training programs. This role ensures staff acquire the knowledge and skills needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and communicate all training initiatives to employees.
- Assist in designing, developing, and facilitating both custom and corporate training sessions covering product knowledge, service standards, and leadership.
- Monitor enrollment, attendance, and participant progress; gather feedback to assess training effectiveness.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to evaluate skill transfer and impact on guest satisfaction metrics.
- Identify performance gaps, help create training plans and budgets, and adjust methodologies as needed.
- Observe employee service behaviors and provide constructive feedback to individuals and managers.
Required profile
- 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 1 year of HR or related experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with a certified trainer credential (no experience required).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training best practices.
