About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our Salesforce development efforts for D2C and B2B sales channels. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining Sales Cloud solutions that cover lead, opportunity, and order management while driving technical excellence across a distributed team.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce solutions for lead, opportunity, and order management using Apex, LWC, and integration patterns.
- Define technical approaches, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Guide a team of 8‑10 offshore developers through sprint planning, estimates, and solution design.
- Manage integrations with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and custom micro‑services.
- Lead production issue triage and ensure stability of Sales Cloud functionality.
- Oversee reusable component frameworks, reduce technical debt, and mentor engineers on performance tuning.
- Coordinate with onsite leads, architects, and product managers to align technical direction.
- Drive adoption of AI‑powered development tools such as Agentforce and Copilot.
Required profile
- 12‑15 years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 3 years as a technical lead.
- Hands‑on experience in large, fast‑paced Salesforce environments.
- Proven ability to manage offshore teams in an Agile setting.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to translate business outcomes into technical direction.
Required skills
- Salesforce platform (Apex, Lightning Web Components)
- Integration using middleware, Events/API, SAP
- DevOps tools: Copado, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
- AI‑powered development tools: Agentforce, Copilot, prompt engineering
- Data and analytics platforms: Tableau, Amazon Redshift
- Observability, logging, and integration monitoring
- Salesforce PD1 and PD2 certifications (preferred)
