Assistant Manager – Dispatch Operations

About the role

Licious is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager to lead its dispatch operations. You will ensure timely, accurate delivery of fresh meat and seafood while upholding quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch schedules and coordinate with warehouse and production teams.
• Oversee vehicle placement, route planning, and shipment tracking to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Prepare and verify invoices, delivery challans, e‑way bills, and other dispatch documentation.
• Track KPIs such as OTIF, dispatch TAT, vehicle turnaround time, and delivery adherence.
• Resolve delays, damages, and operational issues with transporters and delivery partners.
• Drive inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and process adherence during dispatch.
• Lead a team of dispatch executives and associates, ensuring productivity.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Maintain food safety, quality, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in dispatch, warehouse operations, logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience in FMCG, food processing, e‑commerce or quick commerce preferred.
• Strong understanding of dispatch planning, transportation management, and inventory control.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
