Assistant Category Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Category Manager to support the development and execution of our product categories. Working closely with partners, brand, design and sourcing teams, you will help drive a fashion‑forward positioning and achieve strong sell‑through across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create product lines with partners, brand, design and sourcing teams across all categories.
• Ensure profitable business growth by monitoring contribution margin, gross profit and overall GMV.
• Deliver rank and GMV targets for category‑partner relationships.
• Develop and execute stock allocation and inventory planning strategies for OSM, SMU, NSM and omnichannel mixes based on partner strengths.
• Drive the monthly buying calendar, providing insights on what is working, what is not, and sales performance.
• Manage secondary sales, discounts, visibility and competition strategies.
• Oversee partner OTB management and secondary forecasting to support primary planning.
• Supervise the operations team to ensure efficient B2B inventory dispatch and delivery, maximizing shelf life.

Required profile

• Proven experience in category management or related retail/fashion roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
• Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
