Area Finance Controller

About the role

The Area Finance Controller will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the assigned region. You will consolidate data, prepare timely financial reports, and support financial modelling to drive informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate financial information and produce accurate, timely reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Analyze profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, working capital, costs, revenues, and rates of return.
• Assess external economic conditions and their impact on business operations.
• Coach and mentor less‑experienced staff and oversee the work of junior finance professionals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of financial data with business objectives.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of financial control, reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while seeking advice on complex issues.
• Strong understanding of business interdependencies across functions.
• Experience influencing tactical decisions and supporting strategic initiatives.
