Anesthesia and Surgery Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesia and Surgery Assistant to join our team at ClearMedi Healthcare in Varanasi. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will work closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists in preparing and administering anesthesia.
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures to maintain safety and comfort.
• Support surgical teams by providing assistance during operations.
• Ensure all anesthesia and surgical equipment is available, functional, and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with the operating‑room team to streamline workflow.
• Provide critical‑care support as needed, adhering strictly to clinical protocols and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Knowledge and skills in anesthesiology and general anesthesia.
• Experience or proficiency in surgical assistance.
• Understanding of critical‑care medicine principles.
• Familiarity with general medicine within an operating‑room environment.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work collaboratively under pressure.
• Degree or certification in a related allied‑health field (e.g., Operation Theatre Technology, Nursing) is advantageous.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical healthcare practices, and meticulous attention to detail.
