Windows System Administrator - Level 3 (MSP)

About the role

A growing IT infrastructure team supporting global MSP clients is looking for a highly experienced Windows System Administrator - Level 3, based on site in Vadodara, Gujarat. This is a senior, client-facing technical role acting as the main escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, designing and optimizing enterprise environments, leading technical projects and guiding L1 and L2 teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex infrastructure escalations, perform root-cause analysis and lead major incident investigations
• Administer and optimize Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and certificate services
• Troubleshoot and design LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, routing and hybrid connectivity solutions
• Design and run Azure and AWS infrastructure, including hybrid environments and cloud migrations
• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V, plan capacity and availability
• Implement security controls, hardening, vulnerability remediation and incident response
• Design backup and disaster recovery strategies, test recoveries and maintain business continuity
• Write advanced PowerShell scripts and automate provisioning, monitoring and reporting
• Mentor L1 and L2 admins, set standards and document procedures
• Act as senior technical advisor to key MSP clients

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5-7+ years in Windows infrastructure administration, with significant enterprise or MSP experience
• Prior experience in an MSP or multi-client environment highly desirable; client-facing and international support experience preferred

• Advanced Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and identity management
• Networking and infrastructure troubleshooting
• Preferred: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365/Identity, VMware VCP, CompTIA Security+
