Welder V – Technical Welding Specialist

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Welder V to join its global energy projects. The role involves performing and supervising complex welding operations while ensuring high standards of performance, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment according to detailed specifications and project blueprints.
• Plan and sequence welding activities to meet project timelines.
• Monitor welding processes, adjust parameters, and control output quality.
• Detect and report any defects or issues during welding operations.
• Provide training and guidance to junior welders and act as the technical reference for the most complex tasks.
• Strictly follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Technical Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on welding experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to supervise or coordinate a small team of welders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with welding tools and techniques.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Quality control and inspection of welded joints.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards for welding.
