Welder – Offshore & Onshore Projects

About the role

OCS Services is seeking a skilled Welder to join its offshore and onshore oil & gas projects. The role involves performing welding, fabrication, repair and maintenance on piping, structural components and mechanical equipment while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Arc, TIG and MIG welding, as well as gas cutting on pipelines, structures and equipment.
• Fabricate, fit‑up and weld pipes, flanges, supports and structural assemblies.
• Perform repair welding on pumps, valves, compressors and piping systems.
• Prepare surfaces through grinding, beveling, cleaning and edge preparation.
• Gouge, cut and remove defective welds, then re‑weld as required.
• Support pressure testing, leak testing and inspection activities.

Required profile

• Experience in offshore or FPSO welding environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric sketches and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and relevant codes such as ASME and AWS.
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
