Welder – Full-time, On-site in Ahmedabad

About the role

Saffron Techmech is seeking a skilled Welder to join its manufacturing team in Ahmedabad. This full‑time, on‑site position involves fabricating, repairing, and modifying metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding machines, selecting appropriate techniques and filler materials.
• Perform welding operations such as Arc Welding and MIG Welding on a variety of metal parts.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with machinists, technicians, and supervisors to meet project timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all PPE and workshop safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with core welding methods, especially Arc and MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of metal properties and appropriate filler material selection.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the capacity to stand for extended periods.
• Relevant technical training or certification in welding or metal fabrication is an advantage.
