Wedding Planner Consultant

About the role

The Wedding Company is seeking a Wedding Planner Consultant to join its team in Goa on a 1‑year fixed‑term contract. You will work directly with couples to design, budget, and execute memorable multi‑day wedding celebrations, coordinating all aspects from concept to on‑site delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations to map the couple’s vision, create mood boards and define the scope of multi‑day events such as Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi and reception.
• Source, negotiate and manage contracts with NCR‑based vendors including decorators, caterers, photographers, makeup artists and entertainment providers.
• Develop comprehensive budgets, allocate costs across categories, set up payment schedules and monitor expenses to ensure financial control.
• Oversee guest experience by managing RSVP tracking, dietary requirements, airport transfers, hotel check‑ins and seating arrangements.
• Create detailed minute‑by‑minute timelines, supervise vendor set‑up, coordinate backstage activities and handle on‑site crisis mitigation.
• Maintain close communication with technical production teams to align sound, lighting and power requirements with venue specifications.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of hands‑on wedding or event planning experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, negotiate contracts and stay within budget.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail‑oriented execution of complex timelines.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and on‑site coordination.
• Willingness to work onsite in Goa and travel to event locations as needed.
