Web Developer

About the role

Sulzer is seeking a motivated Web Developer to join the Engineering Tools Group. You will create and enhance web‑based applications that support mechanical engineering processes worldwide, working closely with mechanical engineers and end users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify web applications from scratch, including UI creation and adaptation.
• Create and manage databases, perform CRUD operations, and write stored procedures.
• Gather requirements from engineers, communicate with the development team, and ensure project delivery within timelines.
• Participate in programming, code reviews, testing, debugging, and refactoring using ASP.NET CORE/MVC.
• Maintain and improve existing software based on user feedback and evolving business processes.
• Apply agile methodology and follow the software development lifecycle.
• Provide occasional support for desktop application maintenance when required.
