Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The role works closely with product and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality product features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, build, and deliver product features.
• Create and maintain clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date API documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
• Strong understanding of backend technologies, frameworks, and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs or similar service architectures.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools and standards such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug complex issues.
• Good understanding of databases, data modeling, and system integration patterns.
